Nova began her career as a cabaret singer in the North West of England, singing first as part of the duo, Nova & Lee then, as a solo vocalist.

After training at the Arts Educational School, she developed her act into a more sophisticated programme, performing with a pianist. With this act, she played Oscar’s Bar in Leicester Square, Centrestage on Seven Dials and the Hazlitt Theatre, Kent, to name but a few. She sang with her own jazz trio at the Park Lane Hotel and Quaglinos Restaurant in the West End. She also performed as part of the Jermyn Street Jewels season at Jermyn Street Theatre.

However, Nova’s favourite venue was fulfilling her ambition to sing at the Pizza On the Park in Knightsbridge, where, with fellow performers, Michael Robinson and Trevor Conner, she presented When I Look at You, based on the life and music of Frank Wildhorn (composer of Jekyll & Hyde) and his former wife, the renowned singer, Linda Eder.

In 2001, Nova’s career took her to Germany to play Jellylorum in Cats. Whilst in Stuttgart, she regularly sang on the showbuhne in the S.I. Centre, as well as at galas and corporate events all over Bad Canstatt. In 2004, she performed concerts at several prestigious hotels throughout Switzerland and France, as Soprano with the group West End Live, singing music from Bernstein to Lloyd Webber.

Christmas 2005 saw Nova entertaining the passengers aboard the Saga Rose cruise ship, as they toured the Canary Isles. By way of contrast, in 2008, she sang to visitors to London from all around the globe, as they admired the sights of London from City Cruises.

She has performed with groups such as Incognito Artists and So Productions, at some fantastic venues, including Madame Tussauds and the Grosvenor House Hotel. She has also had the chance to appear as guest vocalist on several occasions for the wonderful Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.

In 2013, Nova took part in Just Another Love Story, an idea conceived by Ray Rackham around Sondheim’s love songs, at the inaugural season of the London Theatre Workshop. In addition, she developed her own cabaret show All Grown Up, for this venue. On a quite different note, over the last few years, Nova has developed a full musical show, The Sound of Julie, a tribute to the life and music of Julie Andrews, in which she plays the title role.
